Alchemy of Art and Play at the Piano Craft Gallery

Happy to announce my first exhibition of 2024 will be the Alchemy of Art and Play at the Piano Craft Gallery!

I’ll be showcasing a piece from my I am Color collection titled, “I am Green.” This piece presents the effortless beauty
that radiates from the color. With such beauty, others see Green as monetary opportunity rather than appreciate
the life it brings to our world.

The exhibition runs from January 26 to February 11th.
Come out to the Opening Reception on Saturday January 27th from 3pm - 6pm!

New England Collective XIII: Regional Juried

Exhibition - Voices and Visions

On my way to SOWA!
I’ll be exhibiting my piece, Consulting with Myself, at Galatea Fine Art Gallery as a part of the New England Collective XIII: Regional Exhibition with the theme of Voices and Vision!

Voices and Visions is a compelling theme for an art exhibition focusing on the diverse narratives, perspectives, and creative expressions within the artistic community. This theme celebrates individual artists' distinctive ' "voices" and the multifaceted 'visions" that emerge from their unique perspectives, experiences, and creative processes.

The Opening Reception will occur during First Fridays on February 2nd from 6 - 8pm.
Everyone is invited!
Please come and enjoy the evening and celebrate the art.

The art will be displayed at Boston City Hall in the Scollay Square Gallery and other galleries. This year's exhibition is curated and judged by the founders of Juniper Rag, an art and lifestyle magazine.

Providence Art Club - The Edward Mitchell Bannister National Exhibition: Celebrating BIPOC Artist

I’m proud to announce that my art piece, In My Head, has been selected to be featured at Providence Art Club as a part of the The Edward Mitchell Bannister National Exhibition: Celebrating BIPOC Artists curated by Krista Scenna. This is amongst a series of exhibitions and programs to celebrate founding member Edward Mitchell Bannister (1828-1901) in the lead up to the unveiling of a public sculpture in his honor in the fall.

African American Museum, Dallas

My first museum. Still a very surreal proud moment. The African American Museum in historic Fair Park, Dallas, TX, invites artists to enter the juried Carroll Harris Simms National Black Art Competition and Exhibition. If my work wins it will be permanently installed in the museum.

My artwork speak my expressions and feelings when I can’t frame them with words. These pieces are an exploration of myself as I experience the many nuances of life.

Single Line Artwork

When times get stressful, I run to my own world of colorful faces. My single line artwork have a meditative quality as they are like breathing to me. Each piece is one of one original created in that moment and expresses the natural flow of my art.

This is the playground where my wildest dreams thrive. From a collection of characters to the personification of childhood tools of nostalgia, here’s where everything comes to life.
